Burt feels cheated of his chance to be rock-star because of baby Jimmy. Feeling guilty that he robbed his father of his chance to be something Jimmy (Lucas Neff) convinces Barney (Gregg Binkley) to hire Smokey Floyd and Burt (Garret Dillahunt) will play as the back-up to his washed up rock hero. Jason Lee guest stars as Smokey and calls Barney as Kenny, referencing to their old characters in "My Name Is Earl".
