Everyone goes to Marshall's home in Minnesota for his father's wake and Ted (Josh Radnor) with the help of Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) try to make Marshall (Jason Segel) laugh but to no avail. Marshall all the while is at odds with his childhood bully suddenly playing a big role in his father's wake.
