Vince (Will Sasso) and Bonnie (Nicole Sullivan) quit their jobs after attending a seminar of a life coach which Ed (William Shatner) thinks is a very stupid decision they have made. Henry (Jonathan Sadowski) meanwhile gets an assignment to write about the life coach and goes to attend one of her seminars. Ed afraid that Henry will get suckered like Bonnie and Vince confront the life coach and inavertedly may get his wish to come true. Cybill Shepherd guest stars as the life coach Charlotte Ann Robinson.

Stephanie's (Julie Benz) parents make a suprise visit and everyone knows that they are a bit difficult to deal with. Jim (Michael Chiklis) and the rest of the family tone down their powers so that Allan (Bruce McGill) and Barbara (Cybill Shepherd) wouldn't notice but instead it draws more attention to their strange behaviors. All the while Daphne (Kay Panabaker) tries to help by using her abilities to read her friends thoughts and identifies the thugs that has been invading homes.
