The Event - Season 1, Episode 8: For the Good of Our Country

President Martinez (Blair Underwood) and Director Sterling (Zeljko Ivanek) try to determine why there are a lot of security breaches recently. Having a chance to interrogate Michael Buchanan (Scott Patterson) he was able to determine that the security breach is deep within his staff. Vicky (Taylor Cole) being summoned by Dempsey (Hal Holbrook) is assigned to kill the vice president. Meanwhile, Sean (Jason Ritter) and Leila (Sarah Roemer) try and stay alive as a team of mercenaries hunt them down.
